Philip began his culinary career at Hollings College, Manchester. Following this he was trained as a Chef at the Savoy Hotel, London, working alongside his mentor Silvino Trompetto, the Maitre Chef des Cuisines. Philip returned to Hollings College to further his academic catering career and graduated with a degree in Hotel and Catering Management.

As a farmer's daughter from Cheshire, Jane learned how to cook at a very young age, and could always be found making a mess and experimenting with ingredients found in her mum's cupboard.

We booked to stay at Cheshire Cooks as a Christmas present for our husbands - Philip and Janice could not have made our stay more wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived on the Friday night and were driven to the local village for dinner and there was Prosecco and chocolates waiting for us on our arrival. The bedrooms were fabulous in a very modern barn conversion and the cookery course itself was thoroughly enjoyed by the hubbies! We are already planning a return visit in the Summer! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
